Our Basin Baby Shoes are made of vegetable tanned sheepskin leather.  This leather undergoes a clean all natural tanning process to ensure that babies can wear the shoes barefoot without absorbing chemicals through their feet.  With elastic in the ankle placket, our Basin Baby Shoes are easy to take on and off, but they also stay on when the babies are kicking and playing. They are soft yet durable and wear beautifully over time.  
 
Our Basin Baby Sheepskin shoes are often made to order and can take up to 3 days to make and ship out.  Sizing past 12 months has a goatskin shoe bottom instead of sheepskin to add extra durability for walking.
